Our total so far has come to…
Here are the current standings:
The Huron Arbor Cluster has increased their lead in the heavy weight division with 32,300 pounds.
Keep in mind that as we near the end of the competition, anything can happen! Remember, you can always report hauls that were pulled earlier in the season. But don’t wait too long- the competition ends on the 28th!
There were too many cool things going on this week to share all of them today, so stand by for a Special Edition Shout-Out Post on Monday!
The Nature Conservancy of Canada checked in with almost 2,000 pounds this week! These pulls from across the province included staff, interns, volunteers, and community members- talk about teamwork! Look at these troopers who pulled in the rain!
The Mid-Michigan Stewardship Initiative teamed up with Cub Scout Pack 260 this week in Lansing, MI. This is the second year pulling Garlic Mustard- “they love being in the woods as well as working together” Sounds like a great day! Good work, Guys!
Oakwoods Metropark in New Boston, MI had an exceptional group of dedicated volunteers back for another productive workday. One of these hard workers is the mother of Allison Esper, the wonderful Volunteer Coordinator at HCMA. Talk about a great mom! Thanks for all you’ve done this week, crew!
Don’t see your photos in this post? Do not fret! We’ll begin to post this year’s photos in the photo gallery in the coming days. We’ve gotten so many great ones- keep them coming!
